The production adheres to the stringent quality criteria of craft manufacturing in the old tradition of Cloisonné. Elaborate work steps are necessary to apply the design on the jewellery blanks and to pour it with liquefied enamel. Last step is the firing.
The Design
CHUNMEI™ Edition Anabel Balkenhol was created in close cooperation with the well-respected rider, daughter of legendary Klaus Balkenhol.
The edition is inspired by Pegasus, the flying horse of the greek mythology, and Dablino, the success horse of Anabel Balkenhol - symbols for the feeling of freedom riding might convey and perfect harmony between rider and horse, characterised by respect and love to each other.
Anabel Balkenhol was born 1972 in Rosendahl. She studied in the field of special education till 1995 and successfully finished her graduation as office assistant at the Deutsche Reiterliche Vereinigung e.V. (German Equestrian Federation ) in 1999. 2000 to 2002 she lived in the USA, from 2002 she worked in the training stable of her father, Klaus Balkenhol. Since 2007 she is working as an independent trainer of horses.
Her great breakthrough came in 2010 with her successful horse Dablino. She worked her way up to position 16 at world ranking list and got, as a result of her successes, nominated for the World Equestrian Games at Lexington in 2010. With the team (Isabell Werth, Matthias Alexander Rath and Christoph Koschel) she won the bronze medal. Since 2011 she is member of the A dressage squad. Her trainer is her father, Klaus Balkenhol.
CHUNMEI™ Edition Mamasani is the fusion of complex craftsmanship with the vanguard design of Dr. Javid Mamasani. With the creation of this collection we go on a colourful and poetical journey together with the artist. Let yourself inspire by the living design and the beautiful colours.
The performing artist Dr. Javid Mamasani, born 1956 in Shiraz, graduated from The Rome University of Modern Architecture. During a visit of Spain he discovered his interest in painting. In the United States he went through seven years of training with one of the masters of painting and fine art from The Bouhouse school. In this period of time he developed his own concept of form, colour and implementation of unusual materials.
In all these years living in European and American atmosphere of art and architecture, he has always been inspired from Italian futurists and German Bauhaus school. In his work one can feel poetry and music.
Design and Packing
CHUNMEI™ jewellery pieces are tested on allergy. An allergic reaction is not to be expected.
All pieces of the collection are available 18k gold-plated and 18k white gold-plated.
333 gold (8k) is possible on request. Please ask for our conditions.
We deliver all pendents with snake chain necklace.
The jewellery is carefully packed in a high-quality, anthracite jewel case with metallic logo print, lined with black velvet. The jewel case is packed in a blue-grey, solid cardboard box.
